Jonathan Dejesus has worked in the IT and cybersecurity fields since 2017. Jonathan began their career at the University of South Florida as an Academic Lab Supervisor. In 2018, they moved to the University of Florida where they worked as a Research Intern. Later that year, they joined U.S. Army Cyber Command as a Senior IT Project Manager, where they supervised a team of 85 IT professionals and managed end-to-end delivery of seven multi-architecture projects totaling over $10 million. Jonathan also coordinated cross-functional engagements, managed project budgets, and developed relationships with foreign nations to design and implement joint-national cybersecurity implementation projects. In 2020, they moved to United States Army Special Operations Command as a Technical Program Manager. Currently, Jonathan works at Veytec Inc as a Senior IT Project Manager and at Cybernet Systems Corporation as a Sr. Cybersecurity Project Manager.
Jonathan Dejesus has an extensive education history. Jonathan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, General from the University of South Florida between 2014 and 2018. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, which they are expected to complete in 2021. In addition, Jonathan has obtained several certifications, including a Cisco Customer Success Manager Specialist from Cisco in 2022, a Management Communications Course from Harvard Business School in 2020, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2022, a Top Secret - Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance from the United States Department of Defense in 2019, a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in 2021, and a CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in 2020.
