Zachary Dethlefs has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Zachary started their professional career as a Yard Technician at Norlift of Oregon, Inc. in 2010 and worked in that role until 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Student Teacher at David Douglas High School, where they collaborated with another teacher to teach English to 9th-grade students and designed curriculum modules. Concurrently, from 2017 to 2019, they served as a Course Instructor at Oregon State University. Zachary then transitioned to the role of Content Manager at the Professional Development Academy in 2020, where they were responsible for editing cybersecurity content and working closely with the CEO and information security leaders to develop e-Learning materials and simulations. In the same year, they joined both the CyberSecurity Collaboration Forum and the Healthcare Executive Forum as a Content Director, where they focused on developing content related to cybersecurity and healthcare topics respectively.
Zachary Dethlefs has earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Idaho. Additionally, they have obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the same institution.
