Chuck Brooks has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chuck currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, teaching courses on risk management, homeland security, and cybersecurity, and has contributed to designing certificate courses on disruptive technologies. Chuck is also an Advisory Board Member for Content Enablers Inc., where they have designed training courses in cybersecurity and security. Additionally, Chuck is the President of Brooks Consulting International, where they provide consulting services in marketing, business development, and government relations. Chuck is a Contributing Writer on Cybersecurity & Emerging Technologies for Forbes and a GOV CON EXPERT for Executive Mosaic. Chuck is also a Strategic Advisor for Quantum Computing Inc. and a member of the Inner Circle CISO Advisory Team for CyberTheory. Chuck has served as a SME and Chair of the Technology Tiger Team for the DHS CISA Space Systems Critical Infrastructure Working Group. Chuck has also been a Contributing Cyber Panel Expert for The Washington Post's Cybersecurity 202 newsletter and a Subject Matter Expert for The Homeland Defense and Security Information Analysis Center (HDIAC).
Chuck Brooks earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePauw University from 1975 to 1979. Chuck later obtained a Master of Arts degree in foreign affairs, international finance, international law, and international relations from the University of Chicago in 1981. Additionally, they completed a certificate program in International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law in 1980. Brooks also pursued further education in the field of homeland security, serving as adjunct faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies from 2005 to 2007. In 2006, they completed a graduate-level certificate course on case studies in bioterrorism at Georgetown University Medical School. Alongside their academic credentials, Brooks also holds certifications in marketing, including Marketing, Focus, Launch Pricing, and Foundations course certifications from Pragmatic Marketing in 2018, and in program management from Xerox's Program Management Academy (PMA VIII).
