Rami Parient

Rami Parient has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Rami started their career in 1998 as the Chief Non-Life Actuary at Hachshara Insurance Company. During their time there, they evaluated actuarial reserves, set tariffs for general insurance lines of business, and analyzed business results and data. Rami was also heavily involved in the implementation of the Solvency II Directive.

In 2010, Rami moved on to become the Head of the Personal lines Department in the Non-Life Division at Hachshara Insurance Company. In this role, they managed all personal line sectors, including motor property, compulsory motor, and homeowner's branches. Rami was responsible for company tariffs in these sectors and approved transactions and exceptional policies.

In 2012, Rami was promoted to the position of Chief Risk Officer at Hachshara Insurance Company. In this role, they implemented enterprise risk management on a corporate level, managed various financial and operational risks, and developed tools for identifying, evaluating, monitoring, and controlling risks. Rami also presented these risks to management and the Board of Directors.

In 2015, Rami transitioned to the role of Executive Vice President and continued to serve as the Chief Risk Officer at Hachshara Insurance Company until 2017.

Since 2017, Rami has been working as the Chief Data Scientist at Cyberwrite. In this position, they have developed a unique risk assessment model for cyber insurance policies using machine learning techniques. Rami has also developed a model for estimating the monetary impact of different cyber insurance coverages.

In 2019, Rami joined Libra Insurance LTD as a Board Member. In this position, they serve as the Chairman of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Rami Parient has a Master's Degree Studies in Statistics from the University of Haifa. Rami also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from the same university. In addition, they completed an undergraduate course for CRO (Risk Management) at The College of Management Academic Studies.

Rami Parient has obtained several certifications in various areas related to machine learning and data science. These include certifications in Feature Selection for Machine-learning, Feature Engineering for Machine Learning, Deployment of Machine Learning Models, PyTorch for Deep Learning with Python Bootcamp, and Data Science: Machine Learning from institutions such as Udemy and edX. Rami has also completed certifications in Python programming, including Python 3: Deep Dive (Parts 1-4), Taming Big Data with Apache Spark and Python, and Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning with Python, all from Udemy.
