Seth Tarrants

Seth Tarrants has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Seth started their career as a Machine Gunner in the United States Marine Corps from May 2002 to July 2007. After that, they worked as a Product Specialist at UltraLinq Healthcare Solutions, Inc. for nearly nine years, where they managed ultrasound devices and built and maintained reporting templates for the application.

In 2016, Seth joined IHS Markit as a Senior Software Test Engineer, specializing in SQA Engineering. Seth managed projects involving manual and automated testing in an Agile workflow. Seth worked on existing automated/manual tests and also built test suites from scratch using JavaScript or C# Automation Framework.

Following their time at IHS Markit, Seth worked at Cision as an Automation Engineer. There, they maintained and developed new automation suites using C# and JavaScript. Seth also contributed to migrating a Hipchat bot to Slack, facilitating daily runs from Bamboo configurations and providing test run details in specific Slack channels.

Seth then joined Medicom Technologies Inc. as a QA Engineer in 2019. Seth was responsible for building and defining a test process and strategy to support consistent deployments. Seth focused on UI Test Automation and Performance testing and built an automation framework using Puppeteer and Jest.

In the same year, Seth moved on to Align Technology, where they worked as a Software Engineer In Test - Mobile. Their responsibilities included updating and maintaining two mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS platforms. Seth also managed bamboo build machines for automation builds and ensured effective communication between the team and leadership.
