Catherine Wainwright

Catherine Wainwright is the Senior Director of New Product Introduction and Programme Management, responsible for product development and technical projects at Cycle. Dr Wainwright joined Cycle in 2014 and since this time has supported the development of NITYR® (nitisinone) Tablets and Cycle’s generics portfolio. She is currently managing the development of Cycle’s rapidly expanding pipeline as well as the continuous improvement of Cycle’s approved products.

Prior to joining Cycle, Dr Wainwright worked in API process development and small scale manufacturing. She holds a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry from The Queen’s University of Belfast and a PhD in Chemistry from Newcastle University and has spent time as a post-doctoral research assistant in academia in the US.
