David Friend

David Friend is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Finance Manager at Cyclone Computer Company Limited since April 2022. Prior to this role, David held the position of Financial Controller at SBL from June 2011 to April 2022 and worked as Company Accountant at Whisper Tech for a brief period in 2010. David's extensive experience in the finance sector began at the University of Canterbury, where David was Team Leader of Management Accounting from February 2005 to September 2010. Earlier in David's career, David worked as an Account Executive at Marsh Management Services (Bermuda) Ltd. from March 2000 to September 2004. David earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Otago between 1988 and 1991.
