Georg Hess

Georg Hess has extensive work experience in the sales and security field. Georg is currently serving as the Regional Sales Director DACH for CyCognito. Previously, they worked at VMware, where they held various positions such as Senior Security Account Executive and Senior Sales Specialist Security Products EMEA. Prior to that, they worked at Riverbed Technology as the Director of Worldwide Sales - Web Application Security and Director Sales EMEA, among other roles. Georg also served as the General Manager DACH at Zeus Technology and was the CEO and Co-Founder of art of defence GmbH. Georg Hess began their career at Critical Reach - former janet GmbH, where they served as the CEO and Co-Founder.

Georg Hess obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in the years 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they pursued research in Geometry and Theoretical Physics at Centre de la Recherche Scientifique, Marseille in 1992, as well as at Imperial College London in the same year.
