Richard Staynings

Richard Staynings has had a long and varied career in the field of cybersecurity. Richard began their work in 2005 as the Vice President of Security & Client Services for iMagic Software. In 2008, they moved to General Dynamics as Principal, Cybersecurity Leader & Client Chief Information Security Risk Officer. In 2014, they joined Cisco as Global Cybersecurity Leader for Heathcare Life Sciences. In 2017, they became a member of the Security and Privacy Committee for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Richard also joined Cyber Associates LLP as their Chief Security Officer (CSO). In 2018, they became a Board Member for AEHIS and SVP Chief Security and Trust Officer for Clearwater Compliance LLC. In 2019, they joined Cylera as their Chief Security Strategist. In 2020, they became a Board Member for Wembley Partners and Faculty for the University of Denver - University College.

Richard Staynings' education history includes studying Cybersecurity at Harvard University, Cybersecurity Management and Policy at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and Business, Public Administration, and Government and Public Policy at Northumbria University.
