Rickard Birelius

Rickard Birelius is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cloud operations and IT management. Currently serving as Cloud Operations Manager at Cygate since September 2018, Rickard previously held the role of IT Operations Manager at FS Data, where responsibilities included overseeing a contract value exceeding 35 million SEK for hosting services targeting the Nordic SME market. Prior to this, Rickard managed IT operations for Landskrona stad, overseeing a budget of 35 million Swedish krona in a municipality with 3,500 employees. Rickard’s earlier roles included leading the IT department at Cygate's cloud division and managing significant contract values at Ipeer, a prominent cloud provider for the Swedish SME market. Rickard began a career in IT as a technician at Active 24, contributing to customer IT systems across multiple European locations.
