John Ajjarapu has a wide range of work experience in the field of network infrastructure, architecture, and security. John recently worked as the Director of Cloud Infrastructure, Network Engineering, and Security Architecture at CyLogic since July 2022. Before that, they served as the Lead Network Architecture at Iron Mountain, outsourced to ThinkOn, from October 2019 to June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of IronCloud Network, Infrastructure, and Security Architecture at Iron Mountain from July 2016 to October 2019.

From 2005 to 2016, John worked at AIG, first as the Senior Director of Network Infrastructure and Architecture from November 2015 to July 2016, and then as the Director of Global Network Engineering and Architecture from August 2005 to November 2015. Before joining AIG, they were a Senior Computer Scientist at CSC from July 2004 to August 2005.

John also has extensive experience with SunGard, where they held multiple roles including Senior Principal from January 2001 to April 2004, Network Director from January 1999 to January 2001, Principal Technical Architect from October 1997 to January 1999, and Manager of Network Services from November 1995 to October 1997. John started their career as a Senior Network Engineer at Telephone Express/USA.NET from June 1994 to November 1995.

Prior to their IT career, John worked as a Computer Systems Supervisor at Goodwill Industries from July 1992 to June 1994 and as a Programmer/Analyst at Eagle Direct from May 1991 to July 1992. John also served as the Manager of Academic Computer Labs at Colorado State University-Pueblo from January 1987 to May 1991.

John Ajjarapu's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Widefield Sr. High School in Colorado Springs, CO. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at Colorado State University Pueblo in 1987. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Electronics Engineering, which they completed in 1991. Following this, they furthered their education at Colorado Technical University from 1991 to 1992, where they obtained a Post Graduate degree in Advanced Certifications. Lastly, from 1993 to 1995, John attended the University of Phoenix, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
