Natalia Venida

Natalia Venida, CPHR, has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Natalia is currently working as the Director of People & Culture at Cymax Group Technologies, where they are responsible for advancing digital commerce solutions through various marketplaces and platforms. Prior to this, they worked as a People & Culture Business Partner at the same company. In 2020, Natalia took a sabbatical before joining Cymax Group Technologies.

Before their time at Cymax, Natalia worked as the Vice President of People & Culture at PetersonRealEstate, where they led a team of 6 direct reports and managed various HR services to support business objectives. Natalia also held the position of Director of People & Culture at the same company.

In addition, Natalia has experience as a Human Resources Manager at Canon Production Printing, where they provided talent management support to various teams. Natalia also served as a Talent Manager and Corporate Operations Manager at Aritzia, where they worked closely with the business to build exceptional teams.

Natalia's early work experience includes being a Manager in Management Consulting Services - Organization and People at MNP, a chartered accountancy and business consulting firm. Natalia also worked as a Senior Human Resources Advisor at The Oppenheimer Group, a global leader in fresh produce marketing and distribution.

Throughout their career, Natalia has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of HR, including strategic planning, talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, learning and development, and HR policies.

Natalia Venida, CPHR has a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) from The University of British Columbia and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Natalia also holds several certifications, including Reconciliation Education: 4 Seasons of Reconciliation from First Nations University of Canada, Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, HR as a Business Partner from LinkedIn, and Instructional Design: Adult Learners from LinkedIn. Natalia is a member of CPHR BC & Yukon and holds the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. Natalia has also obtained certifications in Fundamentals of Co-Active Coaching from the Co-Active Training Institute and Prosci Change Management Certification from Prosci.
