Aviad Hasnis

Aviad Hasnis serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Cynet Security since February 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing extended endpoint detection and response (XDR), conducting cyber security research, and leading detection research and engineering efforts, as well as managing detection and response (MDR) initiatives and directing MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations. Prior to this role, Aviad Hasnis was with the Israel Defence Forces from September 2011 to February 2020, progressing through positions as Cyber Security Research Group Lead, Cyber Security Research Team Lead, and Cyber Security Researcher. Aviad Hasnis holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics, all obtained from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
