Sedhuraja Nallayan

Sedhuraja Nallayan has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various companies starting from the year 2010. Sedhuraja started their career as an intern at ISAC in November 2010 and continued until March 2011. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Aegify from April 2011 until February 2014, where they specialized in Java and GWT-GXT development for the SecureGRC project. In 2014, they joined BroadSoft as a Software Engineer, contributing to their software development efforts until July 2016. Sedhuraja then moved to Freshworks Inc. (formerly Freshdesk) in July 2016, where they served as a Senior Product Developer until September 2018. Sedhuraja continued to advance their career by joining VMware in October 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they held until May 2022. Currently, Sedhuraja Nallayan is working at Cypher Wallet (YC W22), where they held the position of a Founding Engineer from May 2022 to December 2022 and is now the Head of Engineering starting from December 2022.

Sedhuraja Nallayan completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) with a focus on Computer Science and Mathematics from Vidya vikash Hr Sec School from 1999 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Sedhuraja Nallayan has also obtained several certifications. Sedhuraja obtained a Post Graduate Certification in Blockchain from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore in November 2021. In August 2021, they acquired the upGrad - Data Structures And Algorithms certification from upGrad. Sedhuraja Nallayan also has certifications in AWS Athena, Bash Scripting, Advances Node.js, Docker and Kubernetes, RedisLabs RU 101 Certificate, Breaking the Ice With Regular Expressions, Real-Time Web with Node.js, and Rails for Zombies Redux, completed at various institutions between 2016 and 2019.
