Daniel Tobok is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 24 years of experience in cyber security. Daniel is currently the CEO of Cytelligence Inc., a global firm that employs only top talent in the field.
Tobok has participated in more than 2,500 computer forensic investigations, including those involving ransomware, business email compromises, suspected state-sponsored attacks, and more. Daniel has also handled investigations into insider trading, corporate financial fraud, embezzlement and extortion/blackmail, and sexual harassment.
News organizations often seek Tobok out as an expert commentator to provide insight and context during hacking incidents. Daniel has been interviewed and quoted by the CBC, CTV’s The Daily Planet, The Globe and Mail, The Financial Post, IT World, The Lawyers Weekly, and The Law Times, among others.
In addition to their media appearances, Tobok is a frequent speaker at cyber security conferences, law schools, and bar associations. Daniel has spoken at the Bloomberg Cybersecurity Conference in New York, the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) Enfuse Las Vegas , and has provided commentary on breaking global cyber events across various media platforms on TV, radio, and news publications.
Daniel Tobok has a BA in Business and Marketing from York University. Daniel also attended Vaughn Secondary School.
