Leila Bagherian

Leila Bagherian has amassed a diverse range of work experiences in various roles and industries. Leila began their professional journey at SGS Horizon as a Reservoir Engineer, where they conducted reservoir modeling and field development studies and played a pivotal role in optimizing planning workflow and identifying new business opportunities. Leila also worked at Tata Steel in Europe, where they contributed to MBA consultancy projects focused on economic evaluations and life cycle assessments of CO2 technologies in steel plants. Additionally, they volunteered as an Event Manager at TED Conferences, organizing TEDX events at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Leila went on to join Bilfinger, where they served as the Head of Digital Technology in the Middle East, a Business Transformation Manager, and a Business Assistant to the CEO. Their responsibilities included spearheading digital initiatives, leading business transformations, and supporting the CEO in various special projects. Currently, they hold positions at Phoenix Technology and Cypher Capital Group as the Director of Business Development & Operations and the Director of Business Development, respectively.

Leila Bagherian's education history includes several notable achievements. In 2008, they obtained a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where they studied until 2010. Later, in 2015, Leila pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nyenrode Business University with a specialization in International MBA, focusing on Strategic Innovations and Sustainability.

In 2016, they participated in a Global Immersion Program at Stellenbosch University, where they studied Change Management and Organizational Dynamics. Additionally, during that same year, they completed a module on Global Sourcing, Offshoring, and Value Chain Optimization & Innovation at Renmin University of China.

Leila Bagherian further enhanced their professional qualifications by earning a Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from Firebrand Training Benelux BV in 2019.
