Rezzell Esguerra has a diverse work experience in the fields of curriculum development, language instruction, and digital content curation. Beginning in 2008, they worked as an e-Learning tutor at Ceebibi Language Center, teaching classes to Korean ESL students online. In 2008, they also began working as a Classroom and Telephone English teacher at WELS Academy Philippines, where they taught ESL to Korean students of various age groups. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Language and Literature Instructor at Centro Escolar University, preparing and executing lessons in grammar, language skills, and literature. In 2015, they joined goFLUENT as a Training Content Editor, and in this role, edited and curated training materials. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Curriculum Developer at SSA Consulting Group, where they designed and developed training programs and materials for various sectors. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Senior Curriculum Development Analyst at EnglishCentral, Inc., designing CEFR-based courses and creating lesson plans. Currently, they are employed as a Digital Content Curator at CYPHER LEARNING.
Rezzell Esguerra obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from José Rizal University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Rezzell then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Education with a major in English as a Second Language at the University of the East from 2009 to 2014. During their educational journey, they focused on fields such as English Language and Literature/Letters and Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction.
Alongside their academic achievements, Rezzell Esguerra also acquired various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2013, they obtained a 120-hour Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certificate from iTECC Corporation/IATEFL. Later in 2014, they earned a TESOL Trainer's Certificate from the same institution. Moreover, they acquired a Certificate in Training Needs Analysis and Evaluation from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in February 2019.
