Sofia Mesa Giner

Sofia Mesa Giner is an experienced Computer Science and IMedia teacher currently working at Rainhill High School since September 2023 and serving as an online coding teacher with Cypher Coders since March 2023. Previous roles include teaching KS3 Computer Science at Beechen Cliff School, and pioneering computer science education at Hanham Woods Academy, where innovative teaching methods were implemented using Scratch 3.0. Additional experience includes leading art activities at Oxford Spires International, providing language support as a KS2 Learning Support Assistant at Bannerman Road Community Academy, and teaching Spanish in various capacities. Sofia holds multiple relevant qualifications in education and computer science, including a Level 3 Certificate in Coding Practices and is pursuing a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
