Lorena Leão

Lorena Leão has worked in the software engineering field since 2018. Lorena began as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Laboratório de Compiladores in 2018, then moved on to become an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Departamento de Ciência da Computação - UFMG in 2019. In 2021, Leão became an Undergraduate Research Volunteer at the same organization. Lorena also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Cyral in 2020.

Lorena Leão completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed Ensino Médio Integrado ao Ensino Técnico from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Introduction to Data Science from Cognitive Class in May 2020, Ouvinte do Ciclo IEAT 20 anos: Big data, crise epistêmica, pós verdade from Instituto de Estudos Avançados Transdisciplinares da UFMG in September 2019, Módulo Básico em Teatro from Escola Livre de Artes - Projeto Arena da Cultura in July 2019, and Oitava Escola de Verão em Computação from Departamento de Ciência da Computação - UFMG in February 2019.
