Timothy A. Waire

Timothy A. Waire has been the Chief Information Officer at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since January 2015.

Timothy was previously the Executive Director Information Technology at Quest Diagnostics from October 2011 to January 2015. Timothy most recently led Infrastructure & Operations and had previously been Interim CIO and Executive Director of Application Development & Maintenance, driving the strategic direction of application development and maintenance for the business and their supporting functions.

From June 1997 to August 2011, they were with Constellation Energy Group, Inc. as Vice President Information Technology. There they drove strategy, performance management, architecture & infrastructure across the enterprise in a "Chief of Staff" role to the CIO. Timothy had also previously held various line of business CIO roles leading application development & maintenance, infrastructure & operations, security, portfolio & project management.

Prior to that, they were Principal at CyberSoft, LLC from January 1994 to December 1997 and Senior Electrical Engineer & IT Analyst at Baltimore Gas & Electric, Inc. from May 1991 to June 1997.

Timothy began their career as a Systems Analyst (Part Time) at the Executive Office of the President - Office of Management and Budget from September 1988 to May 1991.

Timothy A. Waire has a MS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University. Timothy also has certification from Loyalist Certification Services in ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management v3.

Timothy A. Waire reports to Michael P. Boyle, President & CEO. They work with Steven Rowe - EVP & Chief Scientific Officer, Marin Goings - Chief of Strategy, and Jack Mahler - Chief Investment Officer.
