Monica Della Rosa

Monica Della Rosa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple years. Monica is currently working as a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Cyted since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant at Imperial College London from July 2022 to December 2022. Monica also volunteered as a Tutor at the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative from January 2021 to June 2021. Monica's previous roles include working as a Genomics Pipelines Research Assistant at Earlham Institute from February 2018 to September 2018, where they were involved in processing customer's samples for NGS library preparation and optimization protocols. Monica Della Rosa holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Sciences with a specialization in Functional Genomics from Imperial College London, which they obtained between 2018 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnologies from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2013 and 2016. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biotechnologies from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.

Monica also possesses an Advance Course certification in Genetic Engineering of mammalian cells from Wellcome Genome Campus, which they obtained in April 2019.
