Joan Bunn

Joan Bunn has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and statistical programming. Joan is currently working as a Sr. Project Manager at Cytel since May 2023.

Prior to joining Cytel, Joan worked as a Portfolio Manager / Project Manager at JMBunn Consulting from June 2013 to May 2023. In this role, they were responsible for managing a portfolio of biometrics projects and served as the central point of contact for external customers, project teams, and senior management. Joan coordinated resources, monitored timelines, scope, budget, and compliance with SOPs. Joan also tracked and reconciled financial performance, invoicing, and forecasting.

Before their role at JMBunn Consulting, Joan worked at PAREXEL as an Associate Director, Programming from 1997 to 2004. Joan started their career at Covance in 1991, where they held various positions, including Director, Statistical Programming and Statistical Programmer / Manager, Statistical Programming. At Covance, Joan was responsible for planning, staffing, and coordinating statistical programming projects. Joan supervised staff programmers, evaluated training needs, and managed project timelines, budgets, and resource needs.

Joan Bunn pursued their education at Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1985 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics. Following that, from 1991 to 1995, they attended Rutgers University and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics.
