Tony Cornett

Tony Cornett has a diverse and extensive work experience in talent acquisition and talent management. Tony has held leadership positions in various companies such as Cytel, JLL Technologies, The Trade Desk, Medidata Solutions, SAP, BlackBerry, Mateo Group, ettain group, Sybase Software, and The Weather Channel.

In their most recent role as Chief Talent Officer at Cytel, Tony is responsible for developing and executing the talent/people strategy of the organization. Previously, at JLL Technologies, they served as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition.

Prior to that, Tony was the Senior Vice President, Global Talent at The Trade Desk, where they led a global talent function and created a scalable talent operating model. At Medidata Solutions, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Talent Brand, where they built and digitized talent acquisition and talent brand.

During their time at SAP, Tony served as the Head of Talent Acquisition for the Global Technology division as well as the Director of Talent Acquisition for the North American Sales Global Customer Organization.

Tony also has experience as the Head of Talent Acquisition at BlackBerry, where they designed and led global talent acquisition functions. Before that, they founded and served as the President of Mateo Group, a talent acquisition consulting firm.

Earlier in their career, Tony held leadership positions at ettain group, Sybase Software, and The Weather Channel, further enhancing their expertise in recruiting and talent acquisition.

Overall, Tony Cornett has a strong background in talent acquisition and talent management, with a focus on strategy development, building scalable models, and creating exceptional candidate experiences.

Tony Cornett attended Morehead State University from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Government with a focus on Political Science. In 2021, they enrolled at Cornell University to obtain a degree in HR Analytics, which they completed in 2022.
