Chris Riley is energized by large organizations that aspire to do great things, and is inspired by the possibility for biotechnology to accelerate life-changing therapeutics. Chris also recognizes the importance of balancing life and career knowing that high-performance, high output teams can only accomplish good work if they can replenish personal energy. His sincerest ambition is to truly contribute and improve a bit every day.
With a style that encourages listening and healthy debate, Chris has led several organizations through growth and change during his 30-year career so far. He studied Mechanical Engineering and Business and has spent the past two decades in Danaher focused on advancing science and technology to better serve patients and customers. He has served in various leadership roles including President of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Vice President and Group Executive for the Diagnostics Platform, and, most recently, Group Executive for the Genomic Medicines Group.
Before that, Chris held various roles of increasing leadership since joining Danaher in 2007. His career began with several years at the Boston Consulting Group.
Chris grew up in the American Midwest and currently lives in the Boston area with his wife and two children. His family enjoys travelling far and wide on vacation, exploring diverse places and meeting new people.
