Maria Murphy

Maria Murphy has a strong background in logistics and finance, with experience in various managerial roles. Maria is currently working as the Material Logistics Lead at Cytiva since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Import/Export Lead at Cytiva from May 2021 to February 2023. From 2016 to 2021, Maria worked as the Finance and Operations Manager at W M Budd & Sons Group Ltd, overseeing departments and ensuring compliance with deadlines and financial reporting. Maria also worked as the Logistics & Category Manager at The Royal Mint from 2015 to 2016 and as a Logistics Manager at CELSA GROUP from 2003 to 2014.

Maria Murphy earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from The University of Glamorgan from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a B A Honors in Spanish & Portuguese Studies from Universidad de Granada in 2000-2001 as part of an Erasmus program. Maria also holds a B A Honors in Spanish & Portuguese Studies from the University of Portsmouth, which they completed from 1998 to 2001, specializing in Linguistics. In addition to their degrees, Maria Murphy has obtained certifications such as PRINCE2® Foundation Certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2023 and Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) from IATA Training in October 2022.
