Nicolas Roux

Nicolas Roux has extensive work experience in sourcing and procurement roles within the healthcare industry. Nicolas is currently working at Cytiva as the Senior Director - Direct Sourcing, leading the Chemicals, Hardware, and Service Direct Sourcing for various operations. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Direct Sourcing at Cytiva, overseeing global Direct Sourcing activities and new product development. Before joining Cytiva, Nicolas worked at GE Healthcare, where they held positions such as Biopharma Direct Sourcing Leader, Global Sourcing Manager for Lifescience Resins & Cell Culture Media, and Global Sourcing Manager for Lifescience Hardware. Nicolas also worked as the Sourcing Manager EMEA for Mechanical Commodity and as the Sourcing Manager for Globalization and Supplier Development. Earlier in their career, they had roles as a Project Leader for LCC Sourcing and as the Sourcing Leader EMEA for Telecom & IT at General Electric Healthcare. Nicolas began their career as a Sourcing Intern. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in managing sourcing operations, driving cost reductions, leading global teams, and developing supplier relationships.

Nicolas Roux received their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole centrale de Lyon in the years 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained certification as a 6 Sigma Green Belt from GE Healthcare in the year 2005.
