Markus Hauser

Markus Hauser is an accomplished leader in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Global Head of Commercial Data, Analytics, and Insights at Cytokinetics since May 2020, where Markus established a new team to enhance company growth across therapeutic areas and geographies. As the Founder and Chairman of the Board at Enginologi, initiated in April 2014, Markus led the development of a Commercial AI and Machine Learning platform that significantly increased revenues. Previously, at Biogen, held various roles including Director of Commercial Operations, contributing over $200 million in revenue through advanced analytics and strategic commercial initiatives. Experience also includes roles at Strategy& and ZS, focusing on commercial strategy and infrastructure in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Markus holds a Post Doctoral degree from The Wharton School and advanced degrees in Strategic Management & Leadership and Banking and Marketing from the University of Zurich.
