Paul Turner

Paul Turner has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Paul currently serves as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations at CytomX Therapeutics, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, they worked at Global Blood Therapeutics as the Director of Information Technology.

Before their time at Global Blood Therapeutics, Paul held the role of Director of IT at Verinata Health, Inc. from 2011 to 2014. Paul'sresponsibilities included designing and building the network and systems infrastructure for Verinata's non-invasive prenatal test. Paul also led the IT integration efforts for Illumina's acquisition of Verinata.

From 2009 to 2011, Paul worked at Celera Corporation as the Director of IT Operations. During their tenure, they led the IT integration efforts for Celera's acquisition of Berkeley HeartLab and directed the combined IT Operations of both companies.

Prior to their position at Celera Corporation, Paul served as the IT Director at Berkeley HeartLab, Inc., a Celera Business, from 2004 to 2009. In this role, they focused on improving the infrastructure to support the company's growth and successfully upgraded the Windows, Exchange, and network environments.

At the beginning of their career, Paul worked at Persistence Software as an IT Manager from 1998 to 2004. Paul was responsible for all aspects of computer, telecom, and physical access systems, including the maintenance and enhancement of various servers, databases, and source code management software.

Paul Turner has an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Paul also holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2015, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in December 2014, and GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) from GIAC in November 2014.
