Emanuel MacHado

Emanuel Machado has over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering and project leadership roles. Emanuel has worked at companies such as Cytonome/ST, LLC, Boston University, LIP, CERN, and Philips. Their responsibilities have included concept design and development of electronics, firmware/VHDL logic, and software, as well as setting up electronics labs.

Emanuel Machado completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Informatics from Universidade de Coimbra in 1986. Emanuel then pursued a Ph.D. in Physics from the same university, graduating in 1997. Prior to this, Machado studied Solfege and Violin at Conservatório Regional de Música de Coimbra from 1973 to 1977. Additionally, in 2002 to 2004, they attended Boston University.
