Hossam Al-kurdi ,CTS-D, CTS-I, CTS

Hossam Al-kurdi has a strong background in audiovisual (AV) pre-sales and design, with experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Hossam currently works as the AV Pre-Sales Lead at Cyviz since May 2021.

Prior to their current role, Hossam held positions at SITE TECHNOLOGY and Advanced Integration Technologies, Inc. At SITE TECHNOLOGY, they served as the AV Pre-Sales and Design Manager from August 2018 to May 2021. In this role, they managed the design team, including hiring, resource planning, scheduling, and communication with upper management. Hossam was also responsible for AV designs, pre-sales, estimation, technical discussions, and engineering of AV systems.

Before SITE TECHNOLOGY, Hossam worked as the ELV Pre-Sales Manager at Advanced Integration Technologies, Inc. from February 2018 to August 2018. In addition to managing the design team, they handled AV and ELV presentations, proof of concept (POC), and mockups. Hossam also provided technical support for the installation team.

From January 2016 to February 2018, Hossam was a Sr. AV Pre-Sales & Design Engineer at SITE TECHNOLOGY. Their responsibilities included communicating with vendors, clients, and end users, as well as assisting with technical designs.

Earlier in their career, Hossam worked at Nasma as the AV Pre-Sales and Design Team Lead from September 2012 to January 2016. In this role, they provided assistance with technical design, pricing, and estimates for proposals. Hossam also communicated with vendors, reviewed and approved system designs, and provided technical support on AV hardware, control systems, and signal issues. Additionally, they conducted research and evaluated new AV products and technologies.

Hossam's experience also includes a brief stint as an Electronics Engineer at Royal Scientific Society from June 2012 to September 2012.

Hossam Al-kurdi completed their bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Yarmouk University between 2007 and 2011. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Getting Started With Dante from Audinate in February 2017, AV BRIDGE MATRIXPRO from Vaddio in May 2016, Biamp Vocia from Biamp Systems in March 2016, and AUDIA FOR TECHNICIANS from Biamp Systems in December 2015. Hossam obtained the Certified Technology Specialist-Design (CTS-D) certification from AVIXA in March 2019, the CTS-I Certified Technology Specialist-Installation certification from InfoComm International in July 2017, and the Certified Technology Specialist certification from InfoComm International in November 2013.
