Pavlina Horakova

Pavlina Horakova is a seasoned multimedia journalist currently working at CZECH NEWS CENTER a.s. since June 2019. As Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Libretto Metro since June 2014, Pavlina has been instrumental in creating pop-up music performances featuring a grand piano and singers in New York public spaces, aiming to promote opera and classical music to diverse communities. Operating as a self-employed event producer and entrepreneur since 2011, along with a longstanding career as a professional singer since May 2010, Pavlina has also served as Project Director at Hlasove Centrum o.p.s. since January 2009, where the conceptualization and execution of "Voice New York" was a significant achievement. Pavlina's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Prague University of Economics and Business, complemented by a rigorous training at Prague Conservatory.
