Jessica Wright, Esq., LLM, MBA has extensive experience in the legal field, focusing on transactional and litigation matters. Jessica currently serves as the General Counsel for D.C. United, where they advise on a wide range of legal issues related to the organization and its affiliated entities. Their responsibilities include counseling on corporate governance, employment, compliance, and corporate strategy. Jessica also handles contract drafting and negotiation, including sponsorship, franchise agreements, and venue naming rights. Additionally, they oversee real estate matters, ownership and investment transactions, and manages league relations. Prior to their current role, Jessica worked as an Attorney at Stone & Sallus, LLP and Ellis Law Corporation, gaining valuable experience in various legal areas. Jessica started their education at San Diego Mesa College from 2003 to 2005, earning an AS and AA degree in Psychology and English. Jessica then transferred to San Diego State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 2005 to 2007.

Afterwards, Jessica attended Southwestern Law School from 2007 to 2010, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree, specializing in Law. Jessica furthered their legal education at Southwestern Law School from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Entertainment and Media Law.

Adding to their legal expertise, Jessica pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from California State University, Monterey Bay from 2014 to 2016, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jessica obtained a certification in mediation, both community-based and legal, in January 1998. The institution from which they obtained this certification is unknown.
