David Toub

David Toub has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1998 as an Independent Technical Consultant for David Toub Computer Services, where they founded a sole proprietorship for personal computer services and provided extensive hardware and software services and support to over 100 clients. From 2003 to 2007, they worked at the University of Rochester ResNet as a Network Manager and Digital Music Research & Design Technical Assistant. During their time there, they managed a team of 15 technical assistants and performed primary research in the field of audio compression and quality. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at IBM Global Services as an ASIC Image and Package Methodology Development Engineer, where they were recognized by management as a top contributor and was the lead inventor of a patent. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Oracle as an APR Flow & Methodology CAD Design Automation and Methodology Engineer, where they developed 10nm and 7nm schematic driven placement tools and optimized placement for active transistors, dummies, and guard rings. David currently works at Intel Corporation as a Senior Automation CAD Lead, EDA Tools Software Engineer, and Technical Director of CAD Engineering.

David Toub received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Rochester between 2002 and 2006. David then went on to receive a Master of Science (MS) in Microelectronics from the same university between 2002 and 2007. David is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas A&M International University, which they expect to complete in 2022.
