Priyank Purohit

Priyank Purohit's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as an Android Developer for BlackBerry. Priyank later became a Regulatory Affairs Intern at Teva Pharmaceuticals. In 2014, Priyank joined the University of Toronto Aerospace Team as a Payload Leader and Research Advisor, a role they held until 2018. During this time, they also started working at RightBlue Labs as a Lead Android Developer, leading a team to develop a secure HIPAA-compliant Android app. In 2015, they began working at the University of Toronto as a Summer Research Student in the Cowen Lab and later as a Bioinformatician, where they improved the genomics data management strategy. Priyank also worked as an MSc Researcher, designing and building a full-stack framework capable of querying any PostgreSQL database. In 2018, Priyank joined d1g1t Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer, where they are responsible for the design and development of an enterprise wealth management platform and managing the development of investor-facing apps for Android and iOS. Throughout their career, Priyank has gained experience in various technologies such as React, PostgreSQL, Python, and Android-Java.

Priyank Purohit completed their Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto, which they finished in the year 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the same institution in the year 2016.
