Mario Sazo

Mario Sazo is an experienced educator with a focus on social studies, currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Da Vinci Schools since July 2020. Prior to this role, Mario was an Instructor of Social Studies at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory from August 2014 to July 2019 and worked as a Teaching Assistant for ESL summer programs with the San Francisco Unified School District in 2012. Additionally, Mario held multiple positions at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory from September 2009 to August 2011, which included Fitness Center Supervisor, Substitute Teacher, and Summer Program Counselor, emphasizing health education and fitness. Mario began professional work as a Clerical Assistant in the Health Education Department at City College of San Francisco from June 2008 to August 2009. Academically, Mario earned a Single Subject Credential in History/Social Science from Saint Mary's College of California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University.
