Jim Aldridge

Jim Aldridge is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and engineering leadership. Currently serving as CEO of DAC City, Inc. since February 2019, Jim focuses on developing innovative machines that capture carbon dioxide directly from the air for industrial applications. As a mentor at Cleantech Open since 2005, Jim has guided multiple teams in product planning. Previous roles include CEO and Founder of Optics Central and President and Co-Founder of Alpha Robotic Systems, where Jim provided design engineering services to high-tech companies. Jim's early career includes positions as Marketing Director and Engineering Director at Finisar, where contributions to optical networking were significant, as well as President of Advent Communications Technology, which specialized in telecommunications equipment. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Kansas.
