Nicole Abendroth has a diverse work experience. Nicole worked as a Content Marketing Strategist at Thrivent, where they led web enhancement initiatives to improve user experience. Nicole also worked as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, onboarded Thrivent.com onto a new Web Content Management System, and managed relationships between the web team and various departments.

Prior to that, Nicole was a Marketing Specialist in Digital Marketing & Analytics at Thrivent, where they produced creative copywriting and visual design for digital marketing content, and strategized a year-long content calendar based on various metrics. Nicole also served as a Magazine Intern for Thrivent's external publication, where they wrote member spotlight features and articles. Nicole was also a Marketing Intern for Thrivent Action Teams, a grassroots volunteer program.

In addition to their roles at Thrivent, Nicole worked at Dahl Consulting as a Copywriter and Content Strategist. Nicole also had internships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Marketing & Communications Intern and a Media Coder, where they produced news stories and coded articles for a research project.

Before that, Nicole gained experience as a Campus News Writer for The Daily Cardinal, covering events and developments pertaining to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

Nicole Abendroth received their Journalism Bachelor of Arts (JBA) degree with an emphasis in Journalism / Strategic Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the period between 2014 and 2017.
