Masaki Sakai

Masaki Sakai has extensive experience in sales and business strategy, currently serving as the Assistant Head of SMART SBU and Head of Sales at DAICEL CORPORATION since June 2020. Prior roles include Head of Business Strategy and Global Marketing for the same division and Assistant Head of SMART SBU. Sakai also held a Non-Executive Board Member position at Kyoto Semiconductor Co., Ltd. from June 2019 to July 2022, and served as an Executive Board Member at KATAOKA CORPORATION from January 2019 to April 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing sales headquarters and overseas business management. Other notable positions include advisory roles at Toyo Aluminium K.K. and leadership positions at ROHM Co., Ltd. and ROHM Semiconductor Europe, where Sakai contributed as a board member and director overseeing international sales.
