Yasushi Kato

Yasushi Kato is a seasoned engineer currently serving as Chief Engineer of the Motor Technology Group at Daikin Industries, Ltd. since August 2023. Prior to this role, Yasushi held significant positions at Panasonic, including Head of Office in the Company Technology Strategic Office and Director at the R&D Center within the Industrial Device Business Division, from April 2016 to August 2023. Yasushi also served as Development Director and General Manager of Motor Control Technology Development from April 2012 to March 2016. Yasushi Kato holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Osaka Prefecture University.
