Wei Zhien Yong

Wei Zhien Yong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd since April 2017, Wei is responsible for project planning and leading a team of R&D engineers in the development of new packaged air conditioners and chilled water fan coil units for commercial and industrial use. Previously, from August 2013 to March 2017, Wei worked as a Process Engineer at Synergy Engineering, focusing on process design, equipment sizing, and dynamic simulation for oil and gas offshore and onshore plants. Wei holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, completed in 2013, and has a SPM from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Ismail, obtained in 2007.
