Arin Mikailian

Arin Mikailian is an experienced journalist and editor with a strong background in reporting on various topics, particularly within Southern California. Currently serving as Special Projects Editor and Staff Writer at Daily Journal Corporation since September 2016, Arin focuses on profiling judges in the region. Prior to this role, Arin was a reporter at the Los Angeles Times, and edited content for Patch.com, where responsibilities included writing and editing multiple stories daily on subjects such as breaking news and community issues. Earlier experience includes working as a Cop Shop Reporter at City News Service, covering crime stories, and as a reporter for the Wave Newspaper Group, focusing on the Armenian community. Arin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Southern California.
