Malcolm MacLachlan

Malcolm Maclachlan is an experienced journalist and communications professional with a diverse background in various writing and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Staff Writer in the California Capital Bureau for Daily Journal Corp since July 2016, Malcolm has previously held positions such as Senior Writer/Communications Consultant at Paschal Roth Public Affairs and Public Information Coordinator at Sacramento Public Library. Other notable roles include Communications Director for Senator Fran Pavley and Sr. Consultant for the Joint Sunset Review Committee in the California State Assembly. Malcolm also has experience as an Associate Editor for Capitol Weekly and has held reporting positions with Tracy Press, IDC, TechWeb, and CMP Media.
