Rich Shearing

Rich Shearing has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, particularly in truck sales and product planning. Rich started their career in 1997 at Daimler Trucks North America, where they held various roles including General Manager of Component Sales and Director of Product Planning. In these positions, they were responsible for developing product plans, conducting competitive research, and presenting growth initiatives to senior management. Shearing also worked as a Manager of Application Engineering at Daimler Trucks North America and as a Project Manager at Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison. In these roles, they focused on customer support, field issue analysis, and developing cleaning processes for diesel particulate filters. Prior to these positions, Shearing worked as an Application Engineer at Detroit Diesel Corporation, where they managed accounts and validated engine installations for various OEMs. Currently, Shearing is serving as the President of Premier Truck Group.

Rich Shearing attended Western Michigan University from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Engineering. Rich also studied Automotive Engineering Technology during their time at the university.
