Alex Trapnell

Alex Trapnell has extensive experience in financial management within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, currently serving as Finance Business Partner at Dairy Crest since June 2010, where responsibilities include delivering annual business plans and collaborating with commercial teams to meet financial targets for major clients such as Tesco and Sainsbury. Prior to this role, Alex held positions as Senior Commercial Accountant and Commercial Accountant at Dairy Crest, managing key accounts and guiding financial decisions through analysis and strategic planning. Alex began the career as a Commercial Analyst and Assistant Accountant, gaining a solid foundation in financial reporting and variance analysis. Alex obtained a 2:1 degree in Business Studies from Kingston University and is affiliated with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
