Debbie McNamara

Debbie McNamara is an experienced professional in Learning and Development, currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development at Daisy Communications since February 2020. Previously, Debbie worked at Spectrum Brands (UK) Limited as the Learning & Organisational Development Manager for the EMEA region from February 2017 to February 2020. Before joining Spectrum Brands, Debbie held multiple roles at FirstGroup PLC from July 2007 to September 2016, including Technology Assisted Learning Manager and Technology Assisted Learning Lead, where significant contributions included the procurement of an eLearning Authoring tool and the implementation of web-based training solutions. Debbie began a career in human resources as an HR Assistant at First TransPennine Express between February 2004 and July 2007, successfully enhancing recruitment processes and training initiatives. Educational qualifications include an HND in Performing Arts - Musical Theatre from Blackpool and the Fylde College and A Levels from North Area College and Xaverian College.
