Chris Scicluna

Chris Scicluna has a strong background in economics and research. Chris began their career as an Economist at HM Treasury in 1993 and worked there until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked at the European Commission in the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs. In 2004, they joined HM Treasury again as the Head of the EU country economics team. In 2005, they moved to Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd, where they held the positions of Head of Economic Research and eventually Head of Research. Chris has extensive experience in economic analysis and a strong understanding of EU and international economics.

Chris Scicluna attended UCL from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics and Statistics. Chris continued their education at the University of Essex from 1992 to 1993, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Economics.
