Michelle Hourihan

Michelle Hourihan has a wealth of experience in compliance and capital markets. Michelle has held various roles in prestigious financial institutions such as Daiwa Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays UK, First-e internet bank, and AIB. In their most recent position at Daiwa Capital Markets, they served as the Director of Compliance Advisory for Capital Markets. Prior to that, they worked at Credit Suisse as part of the EMEA Capital Markets Compliance Advisory team. Michelle also spent several years at Royal Bank of Scotland, where they served as an EMEA DCM Compliance Officer and Regulatory Compliance Manager. Before joining Royal Bank of Scotland, they worked at Barclays UK as a Senior Compliance Manager. Michelle's career began at AIB, where they held the position of Group Fraud Manager for over two decades.

Michelle Hourihan received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Sociology from University College Cork before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University College Dublin. Michelle then attended the National College of Ireland, where they obtained a Diploma in Personnel Management. Later, they completed their Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Greenwich. Lastly, they attended BPP Law School and achieved a Diploma in Legal Practice.
