Eric Kovacs

Eric Kovacs, CMA, has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Eric is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at Dal-Tile LLC since July 2022. Prior to this role, Eric worked as the Sr. Director of Finance at the same company from April 2017 to July 2022. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in financial planning and analysis for a $1.6 billion business segment. Eric led the organization through a 5-year strategic planning process and implemented continuous improvement projects to drive operational efficiency. Eric also supported corporate M&A strategies, conducted research and modeling, and identified synergies. Eric played a key role in recommending investment projects to executive management using ROI and Lease vs Buy analysis. Additionally, they collaborated with executive staff in developing and implementing management sales and operational strategies to increase profitability. Before joining Dal-Tile LLC, Eric held various positions at Daltile, Marazzi USA, Ampco Safety Tools, and NACCO Industries, Inc., where they gained extensive experience in finance and accounting.

Eric Kovacs, CMA earned their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The University of Toledo between 1982 and 1987. In addition, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in May 1993.
