Jennifer Andrews

Jennifer Andrews is a seasoned academic leader currently serving as the Dean of Arts and Social Sciences at Dalhousie University since July 2022. With extensive experience in governance, Andrews has held significant roles such as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee and an elected member of the Board of the Federation of Social Sciences and Humanities from September 2021 to June 2023. Andrews has contributed to the University of New Brunswick as an elected faculty member of both the Fredericton Senate and the Board of Governors, and has held leadership positions including Department Chair and President of the Association of Canadian College and University Teachers of English. Andrews earned a PhD and MA in English from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from McGill University.
