Kevin Debord

Kevin Debord is an undergraduate researcher at The University of Texas at Dallas, currently involved in the OpNeAR Laboratory focusing on optical fiber research and using tools such as MATLAB and Python. As an administrative consultant for the Dallas Formula Racing EV team, Kevin contributed to creating the Electrical Vehicle project and establishing team structures. In the role of President of AIAA UT Dallas, Kevin organizes and leads various interdisciplinary projects and events, while also serving as Director of Tutoring for the IEEE UT Dallas Student Branch, overseeing volunteer tutors to support ECE undergraduate students. Kevin's background includes participation in UTD Rocketry, working on high-powered rocket projects and studying related engineering topics. Kevin is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, expected to graduate in May 2025.
